K.C. Pharmaceuticals eye drops recalled for lack of sterility assurance

K.C. Pharmaceuticals is recalling multiple brands of ultra lubricating eye drops sold nationwide because the manufacturer cannot guarantee the drops are sterile. The affected products were distributed under names including Leader, Harris Teeter, Foster & Thrive, Walgreens, CVS Health, Kroger, Publix, Meijer, Good Sense, Quality Choice, and Avenova. No injuries have been reported.

What to do

  1. Check if you have any of the affected eye drops (see lot numbers SU24E01, SU24E02, SU24E03, or SU24K01 expiring 5/31/26 or 9/30/26)
  2. Stop using the product immediately
  3. Dispose of the eye drops safely
  4. Contact your pharmacist or doctor if you have used these drops and have eye concerns

K.C. Pharmaceuticals is recalling eight sterile eye drop products because the company cannot confirm they are sterile. The drops were sold under store and pharmacy brands including Best Choice, Walgreens, GERI CARE, LEADER, Good Sense, Industrial Eye Relief and Rugby. No injuries have been reported.
