SLMD Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Lotion 2.5% in 0.7 fl. oz and 1.5 fl. oz bottles has been found to contain benzene, a chemical that should not be present in this product. This affects approximately 2,500 bottles distributed nationwide. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your acne lotion bottle for lot number 2691700 (exp. 10/31/2027) or 2691800 (exp. 11/4/2027)
- Stop using the product if you have one of these lots
- Contact your healthcare provider or poison control if you have concerns about exposure
- Dispose of the product safely or return it to where you purchased it
