Pearson Quality benzocaine gel recalled for defective seals

Pearson Quality Topical Anesthetic Gel (20% benzocaine, mint flavor) may contain bottles with incomplete seals. The defective containers could allow the product to leak or become contaminated. About 900 units are affected nationwide.

  • Check your Pearson Quality benzocaine gel bottle for signs of leakage or seal damage.
  • If the seal appears incomplete or damaged, do not use the product.
  • Contact Pearson Dental Supply or your supplier for a replacement or refund.
  • Verify your bottle matches NDC 43305-0009-3 with expiration date 04/01/2029.
