Do not eat Belevini KORUSHKA smelts
Belevini KORUSHKA dried salted smelts may contain Clostridium botulinum, a dangerous bacteria that causes botulism, a serious paralytic illness. The fish were not properly cleaned before processing, which allowed the bacteria to grow. The affected product was distributed to New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida.
- Do not eat this product.
- Throw away any Belevini KORUSHKA smelts (product number LL0320, barcode 0754684898995) you have.
- Contact your doctor or poison control (1-800-222-1222) if you have eaten this product and experience muscle weakness, difficulty swallowing, or blurred vision.
