Berlin Seeds is recalling 950 pounds of alfalfa sprouting seed sold from February to August 2026 because it may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) and/or Salmonella. All parts of yellow oleander contain cardiac glycosides that can cause severe or fatal effects including nausea, vomiting, heart rhythm changes, and organ damage.

The vials contain unwanted particles of cellulose or stopper material that could cause serious blood vessel blockages or clotting if injected into patients.
