Wegmans grated Pecorino Romano cheese (Locatelli brand, item #270010) sold in clear plastic tubs may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. The affected cheese was sold between November 29 and December 7, 2025, in Wegmans stores across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

  • Do not eat this cheese if you have it at home
  • Throw away the product or return it to Wegmans for a refund
  • If you consumed this cheese and develop fever, muscle aches, or nausea, contact your doctor
