Stop using Klong Kone shrimp paste

Gusto Group's Klong Kone shrimp paste (32 oz plastic jars) tested high for lead. The affected product was distributed in Iowa and New Jersey. No illnesses have been reported, but lead exposure can cause serious health problems, especially in children.

  • Stop using this product immediately if you have it at home.
  • Do not serve it to your family or pets.
  • Dispose of the product safely in household trash.
  • Contact your doctor if anyone in your household consumed this product, especially children under age 6.
