Ukrop's pound cakes with buttercream icing recalled for undeclared soy
Ukrop's Homestyle Foods is recalling two sizes of their Pound Cake with Buttercream Icing and Red Roses because the label does not list soy as an ingredient, even though soy was used in the product. This is a serious issue for people with soy allergies or sensitivities. The cakes were sold in Virginia and West Virginia with a best-by date of 12/15/25.

Ukrop's is recalling three sizes and icing styles of its 6-inch and 8-inch pound cakes with buttercream icing, including confetti and pink or red roses. The labels do not list soy, but soy was used in the cakes. The cakes were shipped to Virginia and West Virginia. No illnesses have been reported.
