Diva Fam Inc is recalling its Sea Moss Gel Superfood (16 FL OZ glass jars) due to potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum, a bacteria that can cause botulism, a serious illness affecting the nervous system. The affected product was sold nationwide through retail stores and online.
- Do not consume this product if you have a jar with one of the affected lot codes (G1001–G1025, G2001–G2018, or ABG250102 through ABG250604).
- Stop using the product immediately and dispose of it safely.
- Call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) or seek medical attention if you experience muscle weakness, difficulty swallowing, blurred vision, or difficulty breathing.
