Dexcom G7 sensors recalled after theft of scrapped product
Dexcom discovered that two lots of its G7 continuous glucose monitoring sensors—originally designated as scrap and scheduled for destruction—were stolen before being destroyed and sold by an unauthorized third party. One lot has an increased risk of skin infection due to improper sterilization; the other has an increased risk of sensor failure.
- Check if your Dexcom G7 sensors are from affected lots 1725204004 or 1725069002 at www.dexcom.com/theft-check
- Do not use sensors from these lots
- Call Dexcom Customer Support at 1-844-478-1600 to request replacement sensors
- If you purchased from an independent pharmacy or DME distributor, verify the source was not Pharmsource, LLC
