Nara Organics infant formula recalled for botulism risk
Nara Organics is recalling all lots of its powdered infant formula due to potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum, a bacteria that can cause infant botulism. Three infants who consumed the formula were hospitalized with botulism in California, Washington, and Pennsylvania, though none died. The formula was sold at Target and Nara.com between July 2025 and June 2026.
- Stop using Nara Organics Powdered Infant Formula immediately if you have it.
- Check the lot code on the bottom of the can against the list at nara.com.
- If your baby shows signs of botulism—constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids, weak cry, or weak muscle tone—contact your healthcare provider immediately.
- Return unused product to Target stores, Target.com, or request a refund at nara.com/pages/refund-request-form.
