Nelson & Isa Lacteos Requeson Cheese recalled for Listeria monocytogenes contamination

Nelson & Isa Lacteos is recalling 1-pound packages of Requeson Cheese sold in New York from May 15–28, 2026, because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The contamination was discovered during state testing of a bulk container that was repackaged into the recalled 1-pound containers. No illnesses have been reported so far.
