Britax child seats recalled for carrying handle detachment risk
What this means
A screw in the carrying handle of certain Britax child seats (B-Safe Gen 2, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit, B-Safe Gen 2 Flexfit Plus, B-Safe 35, B-Safe Ultra, and Endeavours models) may loosen and cause the handle to partially detach. If the handle detaches while a child is being carried, the child could fall.
- Check if your Britax child seat is one of the recalled models listed above.
- Do not use the seat if the handle appears loose or damaged.
- Contact Britax customer service at 888-427-4829 for more information.
- Look for an owner notification letter by October 19, 2026 with repair instructions.

Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters were mailed September 30, 2026. Owners may contact Britax customer service at 888-427-4829.
