Jerr-Dan XLP Carrier kits recalled for faulty brake lights

Jerr-Dan XLP Carrier kits may have reverse and brake light assemblies installed in the wrong location with incorrect colors or number of lights. This can reduce rear visibility and fail to alert other drivers when braking or reversing, increasing crash risk.

  • Contact Jerr-Dan customer service at 1-800-926-9666 to schedule a free inspection and repair.
  • Do not operate the carrier until the lights have been inspected and corrected by a dealer.
Hazard

Inadequate rear lighting can reduce vehicle visibility or fail to alert other drivers when the vehicle is braking, turning, or reversing, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy
