Marion Body Works Waltco liftgates recalled for deck pin breakage risk
Deck pins on certain Waltco MDV series liftgates installed on Morgan aluminum dry vans may break, causing the liftgate platform to fall unexpectedly. This poses a risk of injury to people nearby.

- Owner notification letters will be mailed June 12, 2026, with instructions.

- Description
- Marion Body Works Inc. (Marion Body Works) is recalling certain Waltco MDV series liftgates installed on Morgan aluminum dry vans. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling. A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury. Marion Body Works will work with Hiab to inspect and replace the deck pins and bushing kits as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 17, 2026. Owners may contact Marion Body Works customer service at 1-715-754-5261.
