Dodge Durango rear spoiler recalled for potential detachment and crash risk
What this means
The rear spoiler on certain 2021–2023 Dodge Durango vehicles may not align properly with the roof, causing it to become damaged during liftgate use. If damaged, the spoiler can detach while driving and create a road hazard that increases crash risk.
- Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov starting August 20, 2026, to confirm if your Durango is affected.
- Contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 (recall #61D) to schedule a free inspection and repair.
- If you previously had this vehicle repaired under recall 21V842 or 23V115, contact Chrysler to complete the new repair.
