T.A. Pelsue trailers recalled for axle bracket cracking and failure risk
What this means
Certain 2024–2025 T.A. Pelsue trailers have an axle mounting bracket that may not align properly with the frame, causing it to crack and fail. A failed bracket can result in loss of control and increase crash risk.
- Stop using the trailer immediately if you find cracks between the two mounting slots or loose or non-flush bolts.
- Contact T.A. Pelsue customer service at 1-720-325-3026 for further instructions.
- Watch for an owner notification letter expected in October 2026 with repair details.
The agency's original wording
An axle bracket that cracks or fails can result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised to remove trailers from service if cracks are found between the two mounting slots or any loose or non-flush bolts. The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2026. Owners may contact T.A. Pelsue customer service at 1-720-325-3026.
