Tiffin Motorhomes Wayfarer RVs recalled for propane tank detachment and missing shut-off valve

What this means

Certain 2026–2027 Tiffin Wayfarer motorhomes may have propane tanks that are loose in their mounting brackets and lack a remote shut-off valve. A loose tank could detach while driving and become a road hazard, and a tank without a shut-off valve increases fire risk.

  • Contact your Tiffin dealer or Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661 to schedule a free repair.
  • Do not operate the motorhome until the tank bracket and shut-off valve have been inspected and repaired if needed.
  • Watch for an owner notification letter expected by October 30, 2026 (reference: recall WAY-108).
