Storyteller Overland MODE and GXV HILTS recalled for overheating circuit board fire risk
What this means
Certain 2026–2027 Storyteller Overland MODE and 2026 GXV HILTS vehicles have a printed circuit board in the rooftop ventilation fan that may overheat during use. An overheated circuit board can cause a fire.
- Check your owner notification letter (expected to arrive October 30, 2026) for inspection and repair instructions.
- Contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442 if you have questions or do not receive your letter.

Hazard
An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Storyteller will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 30, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
