Aluminum Trailer Company RM900 and RM700 trailers recalled for coupler separation risk
What this means
Aluminum Trailer Company is recalling certain 2024–2026 RM900 and 2026 RM700 trailers because the coupler mounting bolts may loosen and separate the coupler from the trailer. A separated coupler can cause loss of control and increase crash risk.
- Stop using the trailer until the repair is completed.
- Watch for an owner notification letter expected by November 16, 2026.
- Contact ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440 to schedule installation of a free gusset reinforcement kit.

Hazard
A separated trailer coupler can cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
ATC will install a gusset reinforcement kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 16, 2026. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440.
