Rosenbauer Commander and Warrior fire engines recalled for cracked wheel weld risking tire failure
What this means
Certain 2024–2025 Rosenbauer Commander and 2024 Warrior fire engines have a defect in the rim weld that can crack over time. A cracked weld may cause the wheel to separate or the tire to deflate, which increases the risk of a crash.
- Do not drive the vehicle until it has been repaired.
- Contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000 to schedule a service appointment.
- Dealers will replace the wheels and tires free of charge.
- Watch for an owner notification letter expected in mid-October 2026.
