European Meat Products beef and pork products recalled for undeclared wheat allergen

Check your freezer for recalled beef and pork products

European Meat Products, Inc. in Colorado recalled approximately 130,000 pounds of cooked beef meatballs, pork meat rolls, and fresh pork paste because they contain wheat, which was not listed on the label. The products were sold in California, Colorado, and Illinois before January 17, 2014. No allergic reactions have been reported so far.

  • Check your freezer for "Bo Vien", "Cha Chien", "Moc Tuoi", or "Gio-Lua" branded meat products with establishment seal "Est. 7725"
  • Do not eat these products if anyone in your household has a wheat allergy
  • Throw away the recalled products or return them to the store
  • Call your doctor if you or a family member has a reaction after eating these products
