All parts of yellow oleander contain cardiac glycosides that can cause severe or fatal effects including nausea, vomiting, heart rhythm changes, and organ damage.

The vials contain unwanted particles of cellulose or stopper material that could cause serious blood vessel blockages or clotting if injected into patients.
