Unibright Foods beef and pork products recalled for metal contamination
Do not eat Mihima sukiyaki beef or gingered pork
Unibright Foods Inc. recalled approximately 48,139 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat sukiyaki beef and gingered pork products due to possible contamination with metal fragments, including stainless steel wire. The affected products were distributed to restaurants and institutions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York between August and December 2014.
- Check your freezer for Mihima Sukiyaki Beef (2.2-lb packages, Est. 1163, Pack ID 15069) or Mihima Gingered Pork (1.7-lb packages, Est. 1163, Pack ID 15059)
- Do not eat these products; throw them away or return them to the store
- Contact a doctor if you consumed the product and have symptoms like mouth or throat injury
