Perdue Foods chicken fritters recalled for undeclared egg allergen

Don't eat Perdue Chef Redi chicken fritters

Perdue Foods recalled approximately 530 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken fritters produced on December 6, 2017, because they were mislabeled. The products contain egg, a known allergen, but the label did not disclose this. The chicken breast fritters were accidentally labeled as a different product that does not contain egg.

  • Do not eat these products if you have an egg allergy or sensitivity.
  • Look for boxes labeled 'CHEF REDI HOMESTYLE CHICKEN TENDER FRITTER, RTC - LARGE' with box code 7374 and establishment number P-11507.
  • Throw out the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
  • Call Perdue Consumer Service at 1-877-727-3447 if you have questions.
