Member's Mark Italian Style Beef Meatballs recalled for potential Listeria contamination
Do not eat Member's Mark beef meatballs
Rich Products Corporation recalled approximately 3,420 boxes of frozen Member's Mark Casa Di Bertacchi Italian Style Beef Meatballs due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The affected meatballs were produced on December 17, 2017, and were distributed to retailers in nine states: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Listeria can cause serious illness, especially in pregnant women, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems.
- Do not eat these meatballs if you have them at home.
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
- If you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system and have eaten this product, contact your doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms within the next two months.
- Check your freezer for boxes with lot code 15507351 and "Best if used by December 17, 2018" on the label.
