Throw away Avanza Pasta ravioli and tortellini

Avanza Pasta, LLC recalled approximately 9,847 pounds of beef and poultry ravioli and tortellini products made between October 2019 and March 2021 because they were produced without federal inspection. The products lack a USDA establishment number and inspection mark. They were sold to restaurants, distributors, and retail locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat Avanza Pasta ravioli or tortellini products produced without USDA inspection
  • Throw away any of these products or return them to where you bought them
  • Check your freezer—some product may still be frozen
  • Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 with questions
