Kabob's Acquisition meat and poultry products recalled for undeclared peanut allergen
Do not eat Kabob's meat and poultry products
Kabob's Acquisition Inc. in Lake City, Georgia is recalling approximately 869 pounds of meat and poultry products because they may contain peanuts that were not listed on the label. The contamination occurred through ground cumin spices used in the products. The affected items were distributed to Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Oklahoma, and Texas between November 13, 2014 and January 15, 2015.
- Do not eat Kabob's Chipotle Steak Churrasco, Latin Inspired Chicken and Cheese in Pastry, White Chicken Meat for Tandoori, or Beef Pastelitos with establishment number EST. 6640 or P-6640
- If you have a peanut allergy and consumed one of these products, contact your doctor or call 911 if you experience an allergic reaction
- Throw away or return these products to the retailer
