COVAP Iberico pork ham recalled for lack of U.S. food safety inspection
Do not eat COVAP Iberico pork ham
Food Club Corp. imported approximately 3,233 pounds of Spanish-produced pork ham products that were not inspected by U.S. food safety officials before entry into the country. The products arrived at a California distribution center without undergoing required inspection. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat COVAP Jamón de Bellota whole hams or sliced ham with lot numbers 13314, 14124, 14444, 14503, 13323, 13472, 14105, 14344, 14423, or 14484
- Discard the product or return it to where you bought it
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 with questions (available 10 a.m.–4 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday, in English and Spanish)
