Jamaican Tastee Patties beef and chicken patties recalled for lack of federal inspection
Don't eat Jamaican Tastee Patties frozen patties
Jamaican Tastee Patties, LLC recalled approximately 60,457 pounds of frozen beef and chicken patty products sold in Florida because they were repackaged and relabeled without federal food safety inspection. The company also used inspection marks from another facility without permission. Products were made between September 2018 and July 2020.
- Check your freezer for 18-oz. boxes or 7-lb. cases of Jamaican Tastee Patties with 'EST. 2390' or 'P-2390' marked inside the USDA inspection circle.
- Do not eat these products.
- Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
- If you ate these patties and feel sick, contact your doctor.
