Balter Meat Company ground beef recalled for missing import inspection
Throw out Balter Meat Company ground beef
JBS Food Canada imported raw beef that was not properly inspected before entering the U.S. This beef was then processed into ground beef products and distributed to stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The USDA discovered the inspection bypass during routine checks.
- Do not eat Balter Meat Company 73/27 ground beef with pack dates of 07/20/20, 07/21/20, or 07/22/20 and use-by dates of 08/09/20, 08/10/20, or 08/11/20.
- Throw away these products or return them to the store where you bought them.
- Contact your doctor if you ate this product and feel sick.
