Ohio Farms Packing veal products recalled for E. coli O103 contamination
Throw out Ohio Farms veal products
Ohio Farms Packing Co. Ltd. recalled approximately 40,680 pounds of boneless veal products and an undetermined amount of veal cutlets produced between November 30, 2016, and February 3, 2017, due to possible E. coli O103 contamination. The products were sold to food service distributors in eight states and Canada; consumers who purchased frozen veal from these distributors may have affected product in their freezers.
- Do not use recalled veal products; throw them away or return to the place of purchase
- Check freezer for Atlantic Veal & Lamb Inc. or Atlantic Veal & Lamb LLC boneless veal in 60-lb boxes with product codes listed in the recall
- Look for establishment number EST. 34569 inside the USDA mark of inspection on the package
- Seek emergency medical care immediately if you experience bloody diarrhea, vomiting, easy bruising, paleness, or decreased urine output after eating veal
