F.B. Packing Co. beef shaved steak recalled for possible plastic contamination
Check Frank Bertolino and Bellissimo beef packages
F.B. Packing Co. recalled approximately 8,430 pounds of shaved steak products produced on December 21, 2016, because they may contain small pieces of clear plastic from packaging material. The plastic strands are visible to the eye. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check packages of Frank Bertolino Beef Co. Certified Angus Beef XL Shaved Steak (case code 71888) and Bellissimo Silver Beef Shaved Steak (case code 71882) with a use-by date of 7/21/2017.
- Do not use or serve the product if you have it.
- Return the product to the store where you purchased it, or discard it.
