Cher-Make Sausage fully cooked wieners recalled for undeclared milk allergen

Throw out Cher-Make Old Fashioned Wieners

Cher-Make Sausage Company recalled fully cooked sausage products labeled "Old Fashioned Wieners" because they actually contain cheddar cheese, which is not declared on the package. This poses a serious risk to anyone with a milk allergy. The affected products were produced July 23, 2020, and sold in the upper Midwest.

  • Check your refrigerator for 5-lb packages labeled "OLD FASHIONED WIENERS COURSE GROUND FULLY COOKED" with lot number "2020503" and sell-by date "11/26/20"
  • Do not eat the product if you or anyone in your household has a milk allergy
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Contact your doctor if you consumed this product and have symptoms of an allergic reaction
