Schnucks Kitchen in Missouri recalled approximately 130 pounds of curry chicken salad with walnuts produced on April 24, 2014, because it may contain Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination was discovered during a routine inspection, and the source was traced to walnuts purchased from another supplier. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your freezer for 3-pound bags labeled 'CURRY WHITE MEAT CHICKEN SALAD WITH WALNUTS' with production dates between April 24 and May 2, 2014, or codes 0989674 or 0963124
  • Do not eat the product; throw it away or return it to the store
  • If you are pregnant, elderly, very young, or have a weakened immune system and ate this salad, contact your doctor if you develop fever, muscle aches, headache, or confusion within 2 months
