El Toro and Vida Latina cooked pork recalled for undeclared peanut allergen
Don't eat recalled cooked pork products
Morrison Meat Packers recalled about 70,000 pounds of cooked pork products because they contain peanuts that weren't listed on the label. The peanut contamination came from a spice mix used in the products. Affected products were made between December 22, 2014, and January 27, 2015, and have expiration dates between February 27 and March 29, 2015.
- Check your freezer for El Toro or Vida Latina cooked pork products with Use By dates between February 27 and March 29, 2015.
- Look for establishment number EST. 17882 on the USDA mark inside the package.
- Do not eat the product if you have a peanut allergy.
- Throw away affected products or return them to the store.
- Call your doctor if you ate this product and have an allergic reaction.
