Carnivore Meat Company sausage recalled for undeclared soy allergen
Throw out Carnivore Meat Company sausage
Carnivore Meat Company recalled beef and pork sausage products (Beef Boerewors and Traditional Boerewors) because they contain soy but the label does not list it. This is a serious concern for people with soy allergies. The affected products were produced in January and February 2019 and sold in Florida and Georgia.
- Do not eat these products if you have a soy allergy
- Throw away any Beef Boerewors or Traditional Boerewors in your freezer with establishment number EST. 45742
- Return the product to the store where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you or a family member has eaten these products and has an allergic reaction
