Ada Valley Meat Company fully cooked ground beef recalled for possible metal contamination
Throw out Ada Valley frozen ground beef
Ada Valley Meat Company recalled approximately 1,065 pounds of fully cooked frozen ground beef because pieces of metal may be in the product. The affected items were packed on May 28 or May 30, 2025, and were shipped to institutions and distributors in California, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. No injuries have been reported so far.
- Do not eat this product if you have it. Throw it away or return it to where you bought it.
- Check your freezer for Ada Valley Fully Cooked Ground Beef with lot code 35156 (pack date 5/28/25) or lot code 35157 (pack date 5/30/25).
- If you work at a school, hospital, or food service and have this product, do not serve it.
- Contact your healthcare provider if you or anyone else has swallowed metal or has concerns about eating this product.
