Behrmann Meat ready-to-eat products recalled for Listeria contamination
Throw out Behrmann Meat ready-to-eat products
Behrmann Meat and Processing Inc. recalled approximately 87,382 pounds of ready-to-eat meat products made between July 7 and September 9, 2022, because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination was found during USDA testing of the facility and products. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your freezer, refrigerator, and pantry for Behrmann Meat products with establishment number 'EST 20917' and affected lot codes listed on the USDA recall page.
- Do not eat these products. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
- If you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system and ate these products, contact your doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms (fever, muscle aches, headache) within two months.
