Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request chicken soup recalled for undeclared milk allergen
Do not eat Campbell's Homestyle chicken soup
Campbell Soup Company is recalling about 4,185 pounds of Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta soup (18.6 oz cans, best-by date February 13, 2017) sold in Florida. The cans are mislabeled—they contain Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs soup instead, which includes milk, an allergen not listed on the label. This poses a serious risk to people with milk allergies.
- Check your pantry for 18.6 oz cans of Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta with a best-by date of February 13, 2017 and "EST. 4R" on the can.
- Do not eat the product if you or anyone in your household has a milk allergy.
- Throw away the can or return it to where you bought it.
- Call your doctor if you consumed this product and have an allergic reaction.
