MIAMI Burgers beef patties recalled for unauthorized repackaging and false inspection labels
Do not eat MIAMI Burgers beef patties
New Universal Nourishment LLC repackaged and relabeled approximately 368 pounds of frozen beef patties without federal inspection approval and applied false USDA inspection seals. The products, sold as "MIAMI Burgers 6 BEST ANGUS BEEF," were distributed to retailers in Florida in June 2022. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat these products if you purchased them
- Check your freezer for boxes labeled "MIAMI Burgers 6 BEST ANGUS BEEF" with establishment number "EST. 451B"
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- Call USDA at 888-674-6854 with food safety questions
