Garcia Brand smoked sausage recalled for potential foreign material contamination
Do not eat Garcia Brand smoked sausage
Uncle John's Pride LLC is recalling about 139,909 pounds of Garcia Brand and Ema's smoked sausage products produced between March 8 and April 8, 2017. A metal magnet was found in beef trim used to make the sausage, which could mean small metal pieces may be in some packages. No injuries have been reported.
- Check your freezer for Garcia Brand or Ema's smoked sausage with the establishment number EST. 9179 or P-9179
- Do not eat these products
- Throw away affected packages or return them to where you bought them
- Call your doctor if you have any concerns about illness or injury
