Don't eat Papa John's Citrus Kale Salad with Chicken
Papa John's Salads and Produce is recalling ready-to-eat Citrus Kale Salad with Chicken products produced May 10–17, 2016, because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria. The contamination was traced to sunflower kernels used in the salad. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your refrigerator for 7.5-oz packages with UPC 2113008148 and Use By dates May 17–24, 2016
- Do not eat the salad—throw it away or return it to the store
- If you are pregnant, elderly, or immunocompromised and ate this product, contact your doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms within 2 months
