Kabob's Acquisition Monte Cristo sandwiches recalled for Listeria contamination

Do not eat Kabob's Monte Cristo sandwiches

Kabob's Acquisition, Inc. recalled approximately 5,946 pounds of frozen Monte Cristo sandwiches (turkey, ham, cheese on French toast) produced between May 2014 and February 2017. The French toast ingredient used in the sandwiches was contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat these sandwiches if you have them; throw them away or return them.
  • Check your freezer for case codes: PM14E27, PM14H14, PM14J10, PM14E01, PM14E12, PM14E13, PM15C26, PM15E06, PM15G23, PM14L18, PM15A08, PM15C26, PM15K20, PM16B08, PM16B09, PM16F22, PM16F24, PM17B21.
  • If you or a family member ate these sandwiches and develops flu-like symptoms within two months (fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck), contact your doctor.
  • High-risk groups (pregnant women, elderly, immunocompromised) should be especially cautious.
