Throw out Green Chile Food Company frozen burritos
Green Chile Food Company is recalling multiple frozen burrito products made between March 8 and May 10, 2017 because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacterium. The recall affects about 252,854 pounds of ready-to-eat burritos sold in California, Illinois, Oregon, and South Dakota. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat these burritos if you have them at home
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
- Check your freezer for packages with case codes listed in this recall
- If you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weak immune system and ate these burritos, contact a doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms within 2 months
