Vienna Beef skinless beef frankfurters recalled for possible metal contamination
Throw out Vienna Beef frankfurters
Vienna Beef Ltd. recalled approximately 2,030 pounds of skinless beef frankfurters produced on May 2, 2019, because they may contain metal fragments. The affected products were shipped to food service locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- If you work in food service and have these products, throw them away or return them to your supplier.
- Check case codes 013180, 013312, or 013490 and package codes 9122 or 9123.
- Look for establishment number EST. 1 inside the USDA mark on the label.
