Caito Foods chicken salad recalled for undeclared walnut allergen
Throw out Caito Foods chicken salad
Caito Foods recalled about 242 pounds of Derby City Chicken Salad because the packages say "WITHOUT Walnuts" but the product actually contains walnuts, a known allergen. The mislabeled products were sold in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio in August 2018. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat Derby City Chicken Salad with lot code GHMW 243 03 and sell-by date 09/04/18
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
