Mekong Master frozen swai fillet recalled for import violations

Do not eat Mekong Master frozen swai fillet

Vinh Hoan USA, Inc. is recalling approximately 84,000 pounds of frozen swai fillet (a type of catfish) that were sold without proper federal inspection and testing. The fish was imported from Vietnam and did not meet required safety standards. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat Mekong Master frozen swai fillet with lot codes VN 147 VI 1355, VN 147 VI 1351, or VN 147 VI 1354
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Contact your doctor if you or your family became sick after eating this product
