Bob Evans Farms pork sausage links recalled for plastic contamination
Throw out Bob Evans sausage links
Bob Evans Farms recalled about 42,000 pounds of pork sausage links produced on August 1, 2018, because they may contain pieces of clear hard plastic. The recall includes several brands sold under Bob Evans, Meijer, Giant Eagle, and Schnucks labels. No one has reported getting sick from eating these products.
- Check if you have any 12-oz pork sausage packages with Lot Code 8213 from the affected brands
- Do not eat the product—throw it away or return it to the store
- Check the use-by date on your package (dates range from Sept. 6 to Oct. 19, 2018)
