Do not eat Quality Meats pork belly
Quality Meats Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska is recalling approximately 44,372 pounds of frozen pork belly products that were never inspected by USDA officials at the border. The products were packaged between March 18 and April 10, 2014, and distributed to businesses in Georgia, Illinois, and Washington. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat frozen pork belly labeled 'Rosderra IRISH MEATS Swine Pork Belly' or 'Frozen Pork Single Ribbed Bellies' with establishment number IE 356 EC packaged between March 18 and April 10, 2014.
- Throw away or return these products to where you bought them.
- Call USDA's meat and poultry hotline at 1-888-674-6854 (available in English and Spanish, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday) if you have questions.
